IFA 2026: Jackery Reveals Explorer Plus v2 and FridgeGuard

The line covers the Explorer 1000 Plus v2, the Explorer 2000 Plus v2, and the flagship Explorer 3600 Plus, Jackery's biggest reveal for IFA 2026. All three use LiFePO4 cells rated for 6,000+ charge cycles at 70 %+ retained capacity, a manufacturer figure from Jackery's own announcement dated 17 August 2026, not an independent measurement.

Capacity spans roughly 1 to 3.5 kWh across the three, and the entry model is quoted at 1,800 W continuous output (konstant.de, 17 August 2026).

The second half of the IFA 2026 announcement is probably the more useful one: FridgeGuard, Jackery's first dedicated UPS-style unit for fridges and freezers, not a bigger power station.

1,024 Wh of capacity, 800 W continuous, 1,600 W available at peak, switchover in under 10 milliseconds during an outage: that is what connect.de reported on 24 August 2026.

That distinction gets blurred in a lot of coverage: 1,600 W is the brief compressor surge at startup, 800 W is what carries your appliance hour after hour. Runtime is up to 15 hours; the 30-hour figure applies only with an expansion battery, never the base unit alone.

Prices. Not for a single Explorer Plus v2 model, not for FridgeGuard, and no German availability dates either. Anyone quoting you a figure today is guessing.

The wider field looks thinner than the headlines suggest. Presse.Online's roundup, as of 21 August 2026, lists Jackery among confirmed energy-segment exhibitors, but nothing solid turned up for EcoFlow, Bluetti or Zendure. Anker, per one secondary source (thegadgetflow, 11 August 2026), is reportedly holding a press conference on 3 September, nothing more confirmed. Depends how urgent it is. monsterdealz.de notes that an outgoing model loses its anchor price once a successor is announced, though the real discounts arrive weeks after the show. The successor has been official since 17 August 2026.
