Amazon Price History Check: Are the Prime Deal Days 2026 Discounts on Power Banks and Power Stations Worth It?

Early October, most likely. Nobody has confirmed it.

The pattern of recent years is clear enough: 11 to 12 October 2022, 10 to 11 October 2023, 8 to 9 October 2024, and most recently 7 to 8 October 2025. Four years running, the first or second week of October. That's enough for an estimate. It isn't a date. Until there's an official announcement, the Amazon price history remains the only reliable signal.

One thing worth keeping straight: summer Prime Day 2026 already happened, 23 to 26 June, officially confirmed by Amazon. The autumn Deal Days are a second, separate event.

In September 2025 the Munich Regional Court ruled against Amazon in several cases over misleading discount displays, in a suit brought by the consumer association Verbraucherzentrale Baden-Württemberg. The complaint: Amazon calculated discounts against the manufacturer's recommended retail price instead of the price it had recently charged itself. The ruling isn't final. Amazon can appeal.

Yet the rule has been clear since May 2022. Section 11 of the German Preisangabenverordnung requires an advertised price cut to reference the lowest total price charged in the previous 30 days. The Amazon price history is exactly what Section 11 uses as that reference point. Not the RRP. Not the spring price.

Then there's the pre-sale hike: some retailers push a price up shortly before a sale so the reduction afterwards looks bigger, as GIGA.de describes it.

Keepa and CamelCamelCamel both record the price history of every Amazon product. Free, and usable without an account. The Keepa price history shows it at a glance. Four steps:

1. Copy the ASIN out of the Amazon URL, the ten-character string after /dp/.
2. Paste it into Keepa or CamelCamelCamel, then switch to the 90-day view.
3. Compare the advertised price to the lowest point of the past 30 days. If those two sit level, the discount is worth nothing in arithmetic terms.
4. Look at the two weeks before the event. A climb just beforehand is the classic warning sign.

On a €29.99 power bank that's a pleasant exercise. On a power station the same glance decides several hundred euros. Real discounts exist. At the Deal Days on 7 and 8 October 2025, Anker Solix cut Solarbank bundle prices by up to 57 percent, as macerkopf.de reported on the day: €999 for the Solarbank 2 Pro bundle with 2000 Wp, €1,299 for the Solarbank 3 Pro version.

And the opposite exists too. Notebookcheck price-checked several power station offers at an earlier Prime Exclusive event and found some Bluetti prices sitting above the best online price available at the time, while Jackery's offers in that same event were genuinely cheap. That gap only shows up in the Amazon price history, never in the discount badge.

Same event, same category, two completely different outcomes. So a rule of thumb about good brands and bad brands won't help you. The autumn date isn't fixed, and nobody knows what will actually be reduced in October. Amazon probably included. What you can do today is short: copy the ASIN, check the Amazon price history, set a price alert, done. Then in October the chart decides, not the badge.
